The Director of TVC Productions will be responsible for developing and leading TVC's production business. This will include operational running of TVC Productions, maintaining and stretching the existing client activity; supporting the introduction of new clients, business products and delivering against the P&L targets, and be nominated board lead for one of our most valued clients.

The Director, TVC Productions will also play an active role on the board, coach and develop the team through the sharing of skills, knowledge and expertise. You will also be responsible for staffing, recruitment and resourcing decisions.

In this role you will be expected to:

Lead on strategy for clients and campaigns within the division, demonstrating an understanding of client business objectives, target audiences, internal and external politics, and budgetary constraints
Lead business development within the division, implementing an organic growth plan that delivers against new business targets; prepare and write proposals and lead pitches for extension of activities with current clients, as well as for introduction of new business
Work with New business team to identify potential targets/ opportunities
Have involvement in key pitches and client service lead where appropriate
Be responsible for liaison with Content and i2i and the New Business teams to ensure collaborative approach to client opportunities
Ensure Group Managing Director and key stakeholders are regularly updated activity within TVC Productions and one of its key clients
Be a Board Representative for TVC Productions and hold responsibility to prepare and present TVC Productions Board Report
Help manage client budgets, including programme costing, budget monitoring, managing profitability of accounts and preparing regular SWOT analysis
Manage the the TVC Productions PNL
Ensure the client service pipeline is up to date
Ensure reasonable margins are in place
Develop and implement processes to ensure consistent standards are maintained and to ensure smooth running of the team
Mentor and train junior staff within the division, in particular, motivate and lead the activities of sector heads
Be responsible for identifying skills gaps within client service team and developing roles team accordingly
Be responsible for resourcing and staffing across TVC Productions team
Undertake staff appraisals across TVC Productions team
Be fully aware of the Company's terms of business and standard client contract

To succeed in this role you must have:

Experience of managing and coordinating large scale multi-camera live outside broadcasts
Managerial experience overseeing teams of producers and editors
A proven track record of multi-platform delivery for broadcast, social and online platforms
Vast experience with delivering to tight deadlines usually in an onsite capacity
Client management experience; including budgeting, negotiation and post event client debriefs

An ability to contribute to TVC's Board and operate as a business director
A strong organisational, administrative and time management skills
Excellent attention to detail
Sound experience of Microsoft Office programmes (including Excel & PowerPoint)
