Up to £35,000 pa plus commission (depending on experience)
Working hours 10:00 - 19:00 Monday to Thursday and 08:30 to 18:00 Friday (with 1 hour for lunch)

Uni-versalEXTRAS Ltd is a fresh and vibrant company who have been supplying Extras/Supporting Artists to Film and TV productions across the whole of the United Kingdom for over 10 years. Our extensive client base includes: the BBC, ITV, DreamWorks, Warner Bros, Sony, Universal and Paramount.

With increasing demand for our services, we are looking to rapidly expand our head office team based inside the world famous Pinewood Film Studios. Working within the entertainment industry can be exciting but also very demanding and often time critical. We are looking for a Casting Agent with drive and confidence. Someone who is solution focussed, energetic and wants a challenge for themselves and the opportunity to join us during this exciting period of growth and become a crucial part of helping the development of the company.

Your key responsibilities and tasks will include coordinating TV and film projects by casting and booking Supporting Artists/Extras. Your responsibilities will include liaising with production clients and reporting to the Head of Casting and Management. You will be required to work on your own but, where necessary on the larger projects, you will also organise and lead a small team who will assist you to achieve your project briefs and casting targets.

Desired Skills and Experience Requirements:
Minimum of two years professional experience in casting or production (where casting was part of your role) with experience of managing projects/productions from beginning to end
Ability to multi-task, organise own time and prioritise
Self-motivated with good time-management skills, including experience of working to short deadlines
Confident when dealing with the general public, work colleagues and clients
Excellent communications skills - written and verbal
Ability to stay calm and focussed when dealing with high pressure, demanding situations and clients
Computer literate (Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Excel)
Experienced team leader and team player
