Currently located in Covent Garden LFS is the oldest film school in the UK. During 2016, films created at the school had around 200 festival entries, winning over 30 prizes. It's an exciting time to join the school.The London Film School is a non-profit educational charity with Mike Leigh OBE as its Chairman of the Board and Jane Roscoe as its Director.ABOUT THE DEPARTMENTThe Camera Department delivers teaching across the school including the MA Filmmaking (MAF) programme, and works with a network of specialist industry professionals.ABOUT THE ROLEThe London Film School is looking for a camera department manager. This role is primarily to provide students with camera equipment for classes and shoots. You need a working knowledge of motion picture cameras, related equipment and equipment management skills. The role includes representing the department and the school at appropriate technical committees. The ideal candidate has working experience of film and digital equipment, workflows, geared head, dollies and related grip. Applicants should have worked in a camera rental facility and have had experience on set. Vacancy closes 15 March 2017Interviews start week commencing 20 March 2017
