Here at Emmerdale we are often on the lookout for talented Camera Assistants to support our Camera Department on a short-term freelance basis.

Emmerdale is recorded both in a studio, working with pedestal camera in a multi-camera environment and also out on location - single camera. You would need to hold a driving licence as driving duties are part of this role.

You will need to have some experience of working as a Camera Assistant preferably on a drama production and covering all associated duties such as: Rigging and derigging camera equipment; cable-clearing; charging camera batteries and setting up monitors out on location and assisting with focusing and tracking.

Drama production days are long so flexibility is required with regards to working hours - this is a manual handling role.
