Broadcast Coordinator

Feltham

SO WHAT'S YOUR NEW ROLE ABOUT?

The person shall integrate with the FIBA MEDIA team based in Feltham and give support to the Broadcast Coordination of all Basketball events throughout the year.

The candidate shall be fluent in English, be willing to prepare and continually follow up event-related documentation such as Site Visit Reports, Service Rate Cards, Booking Summaries and basic Production Guidelines.

The Candidate will assist when necessary in tasks related to the booking and service delivery coordination along with other FIBA Media projects.

The candidate needs to possess good organisational and long-term planning skills related to the aspects such as the Basketball Competition Calendar but also have the ability to work under pressure at crucial event periods.

WHAT WILL YOU DO IN YOUR NEW ROLE? % of role
Follow Up the main production plan, unilateral plans and all game-related Bookings from Rights Holding Broadcasters (satellite and on-site services) confirmed by FIBA MEDIA 15
Liaison with various stakeholders and management of deadlines 10
Help Desk for TV and Radio Rights Holders (remote assistance with the TV booking platform, coordination of new clients access to platform, coordination with FIBA Communications, accreditation of Rights Holder teams) 10
Back office support during events (requirement to travel to events from time to time) 10
Reporting in detail and following up on open points (e.g. Site Visit Reports, Camera Plans, TV Manual...) 10
Liaison with Host Broadcasters before and during the event (including overtime games and possible additional satellite bookings.) 5
Coordination of the set-up of the TV Commentary Positions Tribune (design of the Seating Plan, recap of Telecom Lines to be installed according to bookings...) 10
Summarising post-event data (number of broadcasters, number of commentary positions booked, number of games booked, services booked vs. invoiced, etc.) 5
Liaison with FIBA in Mies (Switzerland) for Archive (control of Master Recordings arrival and register in the data base) 5
Assist with Archive footage requests and other special projects (TV Directors Workshops, Media Manager reports...) 5

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS (DO YOU HAVE THESE ESSENTIALS TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AN INTERVIEW?) Skill Level (out of 4)
Be a well-organised multi-tasker
Comfortable operating with autonomy
Be flexible
Work well under stress
Have some audiovisual background and technical knowledge (video recording formats, file formats, broadcast quality formats...)
Be technology-Savvy: Internet-world, Microsoft package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Useful Apps, File transfer, etc.
Fluent in spoken and written English

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS (DO YOU HAVE THESE DESIRABLES?)
Multi/languages: French, Spanish and other languages are a plus
Travel availability from time to time (i.e. during events, for workshops, site visits, etc.)
Driving license
Diplomatic and positive approach
