Content output includes Premiership Rugby, England Rugby and Six Nations so this role requires someone with a keen interest and in-depth knowledge of rugby union.The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working in sports production and should be able to self-shoot and edit to a broadcast standard.A strong understanding of a fast turnaround video editing environment is essential as our output goes across all platforms, especially new media/ digital and TV.Camera operating skills with experience of lighting is preferred with script-writing and voiceover skills essential.The role is full time and will require flexibility. Working hours will revolve around the sporting calendar.Key Responsibilities • Offer creative and flexible solutions to the Producer (Rugby)• Help develop the product and realise its full potential across multiple platforms• Learn from the Producer and be able to run the project in the future• Manage the delivery of multi-format programme files • Develop an understanding of new technologies• Play a central role in a regular product review process• Produce own features to a broadcast standard• Build and maintain a proactive and collaborative relationship with other in-house teamsExperience/Skills• Understanding of technical and delivery aspects for all platforms• Excellent editorial judgement appropriate to programme requirements• Operate Avid-based editing software • Deliver voiceovers to a broadcast standard• First rate knowledge of and interest in rugby union • Excellent command of written and spoken EnglishPersonal Skills• Excellent at building and maintaining client relationships• First class communication skills• Flexible in terms of working patterns and hours• Diplomacy skills across a wide spectrum of stakeholders and interest groups• Ability to multitask and capable of making decisions under pressure• Integrity and trust• Excellent organisational and planning skills• Team Player• Attention to detail• Wish to be empowered, to step up and be accountableBenefits25 days annual leave, Bupa Private Healthcare up to Family Cover, Life Assurance (4x annual salary), Pension, Season Ticket Loan, Cycle to work Scheme, Sharesave scheme and Childcare voucher Scheme.
