An exciting opportunity for an animator with some experience to work on a project for a brands online channel. This is a great opportunity to work within the commercial arena to gain an understanding of branded content and further your animation experience. The workflow includes a large number of stop frame animated sequences using filmed footage and we need someone who is able to work closely with a writer to work on animation ideas.

You will be able to think creatively about how the animation would work in the script as well as communicating all the information required. These animations will need to have a light tone and a touch of fun while continuing the style already created for the brand. You will need to be able to storyboard your ideas for client presentations as well as animate the illustrations in a rostrum studio. You will also be heavily involved in the edit, ensuring that the work is of the highest quality.

Essential Requirements:

Commercial or broadcast experience in animation and illustration would be an advantage, but not essential to your being considered. However experience with storyboarding is essential, a creative mind and a background or knowledge of After Effects is also a must. Proficiency in scripting is not critical but a willingness to learn is crucial. An understanding of a variety of software packages, including Indesign, Photoshop and Illustrator is preferred.
