2004. A Man Called Elizabeth. Devised and co-written with Rik Mayall.

2004. Capitalism Unplugged, Producer Director. An open source pilot for political activist web based distribution and TV development.
Doris Productions in association with Max Kiesier of Karmabanque.

2004. Violent Nation. A history of British violence. Director. Comedy/documentary. Outline Productions and Discovery Channel.

2002. Tales of Uplift and Moral Improvement, Director. Comedy Drama. Starring Rik Mayall., a series of 13 for BBC with Channel X.

2001. 2020. History Of The Future. Director. Fictional documentaries set in 2020 looking back at what is about to happen environmentally and economically over the next 20 years. UK and US shoot. Jeremy Isaacs Production of a Ted Turner brief for CNN/PBS.

Industry Awards
HORSE OPERA featured at the E.M.M.Y. awards for 'Television with Creative Daring and Innovation' and nominated for a M.E.D.E.M award. GRIM TALES first prize for `Mixed live Action and Animation' in the Chicago International Festival of Childrens Film, `Best Animated Short Subject Award' at the Television Movie Awards, Mount Freedom, New Jersey and voted `Outstanding Folk Tale Adaptation' at the Chicago International Festival of Childrens Films. The second series culminated with a major exhibition at the Museum of Moving Image M.O.M.I)

Other Skills/Additional Information
20 years experience on the creative side of the film industry in documentary, comedy and drama. After the Royal College of Art joined Jim Henson and his Muppets working on the feature films THE DARK CRYSTAL and GREYSTOKE the legend of Tarzan. Designed dozens of Pop Promos and Commercials for clients including The Guardian, Duran Duran, BT, Ken Russell, Radio Rentals and Hamlet.

Since then produced and directed TV projects including HORSE OPERA (Ch4), with Stewart Copeland (POLICE), GRIM TALES, told by Rik Mayall Series 1 and 2, 22 stories in all. ITV, Ch 4, BBC enterprises and SILENT NIGHT (Ch 4), with Steven Berkoff.

As a writer/producer worked with Steven Berkoff and directed the Film presentations of Stevens West End productions EAST and CORIOLANUS.

As a writer contributed to magazines including Design (UK) , Cosmopolitan (UK) Ideas (Japan), Art (UK), Die Inachitecture (Germany) Photographic book 'Double Take' a portrait of Japan was supported by The Sunday Times, The Telegraph , The Observer and the RCA.

Appeared; Radio 4 Kaleidoscope, guest speaker at Brighton TV festival, TV panelist in Toronto, live interviews on Radio Scotland and appeared briefly as 'Max' in Tales of Uplift and Moral Improvement BBC 2001/2. (Credit Joe Silver)

In 2004 founded Doris Film and TV - Recent / In progress Development work.

Snow Red, Suspense Drama. Feature. Written by Matt Dickinson.

Night Bus, Low Budget Feature.

The Fixer, Feature. Written by and based on the novel of the same name by Max Kinnings.

A Man Called Elizabeth. A series of silent of films with Rik Mayall for the international TV and internet markets. Co writer with Rik.

Rik's Pod. a series of outrageously funny three-minute monologues from Rik Mayall, presented as video podcasts for exclusive download to all digital platforms. Co writer with Rik and Max Kinnings.
