Moray Coulter started the productionbase with a filing cabinet, a phone and a fax machine in March 1996, aiming to be the first UK-wide database on the availability of directors, producers and assistant producers. After four years it had the credits, skills and contact details of 750 programme-makers, and in January 2000 it relaunched as an online service, offering broader, faster coverage to both the TV and Film making industry.
Prior to Productionbase, Moray spent time as an ITV current affairs documentary researcher, a BBC Radio reporter, and latterly worked at the indies' trade association PACT, running the Pact Scotland office for two years, and then another two years as Special Assistant to its then Chief Executive John Woodward. Moray is no longer involved in the day to day running of the business, however he retains close links to the business, providing industry insight and editing the ever popular "Word of Mouth," fortnightly newsletter.
Katie Ingham is our Online Services Manager. She has been with the business for a number of years, and outside work has an alter ego as a music promoter. She is responsible for the welfare of all our members and oversees our customer service in general.
Joanne Bowditch is new to Productionbase as our Online Services Administrator. For any help, queries or advice regarding our service, she is your first point of contact.
Sarah Bromley is our Marketing Manager and joins us with a background in recruitment. Her role is to promote the services of Productionbase and the professionals we represent. If you are interested in advertising opportunities or a partnership with our business,
